Rodríguez: This AN has legislated to protect the people from attacks against the Homeland

This Thursday, December 12, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, ratified that the Venezuelan parliament has legislated to protect the People of Venezuela from attacks by sectors allied to imperialism that insist on harming the Homeland.

“When they have attempted acts of arson attack against our people, we have not remained silent in this AN,” he emphasized, stressing that proof of this is the approval of the Laws of NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) and recently the Simon Bolivar Liberator Law.

As for the NGO Act, he indicated that it was necessary because “it was necessary to regulate those spaces used for damage, for theft, to obtain communicating ties with which to enter money for conspiracy, for blood, for fire, that is why this NGO Act”.

He also emphasized the importance of the Simon Bolivar Liberator Organic Law, since it was created to “defend the Republic, to defend our People, to draw the sword of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and with it to deliver justice, to impart justice, to ensure that no one who was born in this land will ever request sanctions again and if he does so he will be banned for 60 years, that he go to jail for a traitor to the Fatherland, that the laws of domain extension, which is never allowed again...”.

He emphasized that despite all the blockade, attacks and measures against our country, this people have demonstrated their resistance and courage. “By now it's completely clear, not only how useless these measures are, but despite all the suffering and all the pain, we are now better, we are better Venezuelans, we are more intelligent, more hardworking, more honest, we are more patriotic and defenders of what is ours, of our land, life, future, of our independence and of our freedom,” he emphasized.
