Rodríguez: We are going for the 24 governorates and the qualified majority in the AN!

The vice-president of Communication and Electoral Affairs of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jorge Rodríguez, reaffirmed that the revolutionary forces are organizing themselves with all their machinery to win a great victory on May 25.

“Listen carefully: we are going through the 24 governorates of the states and we are going for the qualified majority in the National Assembly (AN) (...) we are going to a victory, so that it is understood, so that they never harm the people again from a position of popular election,” Rodríguez said at a PSUV press conference.

At the same time, he recalled what the opposition is capable of doing when they assume a position of power. “They don't come to the governorates or the National Assembly to help people, on the contrary, they haven't taken off the clothes of a coup plotter, the robes of terrorists have not yet been removed, the clothing of calls for blockades and sanctions has not yet been removed,” he said.

He reaffirmed that the revolutionary forces are going to these elections with the best candidates who are willing to work together with President Nicolás Maduro, the people and the Community Councils for the welfare of all.
