Russian tour operators and visitors tour Mérida

A group of 50 seasonal workers and tour operators from Russia arrived in the state of Mérida as part of a promotional tour organized by the Ministry of the People's Power of Tourism and the governing body of the entity.

Visitors visited the highest Mukumbarí Cable Car System in the world, and the experience of discovering the paramo. They toured the five stations of the Mukumbarí Cable Car System until they reached the Pico Espejo station with an altitude of 4,765 meters.

In each, they enjoyed gastronomic, artistic, cultural and recreational activities, in addition to contemplating the majesty of the mountains of the Sierra Nevada National Park, a press release from the ministerial portfolio reported.
