Groups linked to the extreme right contacted negative leaders of the El Rodeo (Miranda) and Uribana (Lara) prisons to locate criminals in the country so that they, in turn, could carry out terrorist actions after the presidential elections of July 28, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tareck William Saab, denounced the Attorney General of the Republic, Tareck William Saab.
During a press conference held this Thursday, Saab indicated that these “pranes” were contacted by the former convict linked to Leopoldo López, Gilbert Caro, who offered and gave them, on behalf of the far-right fugitive from justice, money and logistical support to these criminals to cause chaos in the country.
In this regard, Saab showed the video of the testimonies of these criminals. One of them shows how Humberto Yánez, alias Valle, pran del Rodeo (prosecuted for kidnapping and rape) acknowledges having been contacted by Caro, and he also told how Leopoldo López sent him 5,000 dollars and, through voice notes, he was put to order for whatever he needed.
“The extreme right has been escalating in its evil and in its terrible way of seeing the people of Venezuela, allying itself with criminals and criminals. The main advisor of the extreme right for this escalation is a convicted murderer like Gilbert Caro, whose political leader is Leopoldo López and Lilian Tintori,” said Saab, who also assured that the extreme right would have offered Caro the Ministry of Prisons if they managed to seize political power.
On the other hand, the head of the country's criminal cases assured that the 25 who died during the violent events of July 28, 29 and 30 are attributable, in their entirety, to the so-called "commandos" terrorists.
“Judicial experience demonstrates the illegitimate use of criminal factors that didn't matter to them to cause harm,” he stressed, while refuting the international media's labeling these terrorist actions as “peaceful protests.”
