Scientific seedbed reached the children of Camatagua

Students of the National Educational Unit (U.E.N.) Carmen de Cura, Camatagua municipality, Aragua state, participated in a scientific conference organized by representatives of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) in the region.
During the day, as part of the Territorial Plan for Scientific Semilleros, young people approached astronomical sciences and expanded their knowledge in computer science, thanks to the collaboration of representatives of the Infocentro Foundation.
In the same way, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), they learned about the prevention of diseases such as dengue and Chagas disease, thanks to a talk given by experts in epidemiology.
In addition, they enjoyed a dynamic robotics class, appreciated plant cells under the monocular microscope and the structure of invertebrate animals with the electronic magnifying glass, and learned about the world of science for production.
In the area of chemistry, they reinforced their knowledge thanks to experts from the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology.
During the day, for fourth and fifth year high school students, a vocational talk was prepared by the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán (UNC) to promote scientific interest in young people.
