The Sectorial Vice President of Communication
and Culture, Freddy Ñáñez, closed the Second Poetry Book Fair (EXPOESY)
2025, an activity that hosted poets, writers and special guests, which allowed
for three days to unleash the magic of the experiences and reflections that surround poetry.
“I am honored, once again, to be part of the
promotion of exceptional works. I accompanied the writer Ernesto Román in the
presentation of Drops; The Night Shepherd, by Felipe García Quintero;
Irreparables, by Diego Sequera; and Imprecise Theories for the Year of the Moonfish,
written by Osmany Echevarría,” he said through his Telegram account.
It also offered a broad overview of contemporary literary
creation, with proposals that transcend aesthetics and
contribute to the study of national and Latin American authors. At the same time, he noted
that this space allowed us to show the diversity of voices and styles present in
current poetry.
“Venezuelan and Latin American
poetry is going through its best moment. It has been a
pride to be, once again, in this space and to accompany the creators of
these books at the closing of this Festival,” he said.
