Sector Vice President Cabello: Security deployment continues to ensure the return of seasonal workers

The sector vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reported that the deployment of security, as part of Operation Safe Holy Week 2025, continues in the country to ensure the return of seasonal workers across the country.

“Today there are some key points, all along the 18 trunk lines of the country, for the attention of Venezuelans,” he said, noting that the withdrawal of officials is being carried out progressively to ensure that all Venezuelans return to their homes in peace after these days of vacation.

He also referred to a video in which a colleague showed the deployment of more than 18 checkpoints from Caracas to Lechería and noted that “this is so that you arrive in one piece with your family, because if something happens to you a traffic accident, there you will have State agencies ready to help you, to assist you, with an ambulance, with a crane...”.

On the other hand, he noted that security and Civil Protection (PC) officials went out of their way to also serve the states of Barinas, Portuguesa and Trujillo that have been affected by the rains this week.

This is why he reiterated his congratulations and recognition to these men and women who provide protection throughout the country. “You really deserve great applause from the people of Venezuela,” he said.
