Sectorial and regional Councils for Sovereignty and Peace will be installed starting this Friday (+Jorge Rodríguez)

This Friday, September 19, the secretariat of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace reported that starting this Friday, the installation of these bodies in its sectoral and regional chapters begins, with the objective of continuing to work together for peace in Venezuela.

This was confirmed by the spokesman for the secretariat of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, Jorge Rodríguez, who explained that the installation of these bodies will start in the states of Portuguesa, La Guaira and Lara .

He also indicated that the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace will also be installed for the fishing sector, which has been one of the sectors that has been most affected by imperial aggressions in the Caribbean Sea.

“So tomorrow we are going to install in all the states of the country, in all the fishing states of the country, the Sectorial Councils of the fishing sector, from Margarita, Anzoátegui, Sucre, Miranda, Aragua, Carabobo, Falcón, Zulia and Yaracuy; all the states that have the presence of female fishermen will be setting up their sectoral councils tomorrow,” he said.

At the same time, he assured that by tomorrow, a representative of the fishing sector will be incorporated into the council's secretariat; in turn, he pointed out that the idea is to add a spokesperson for each sector that lives in the country.

In the same way, he specified that three working commissions will also be formed, the diplomatic, the legal and the political ones respectively, with the purpose of developing activities that allow us to work with the sisters and brothers who are in the world in favor of peace.

He pointed out that they will serve to defend the truth of Venezuela in the face of the hoaxes that imperialism is trying to install to promote aggression against the country. “We are already building true networks around the world in the United States of America, throughout our continent, in Europe, in the Middle East (...) in all the countries that promote the defense of peace,” he said.

He stressed that these actions add to the efforts made by the “Venezuelan population, for peace, for sovereignty, for the preservation not only of our territory, but of the right of our girls and boys to live in peace.”

“So help us in this effort, which is an effort that must belong to everyone and everyone for the peace of the Republic, for the right to the future, for the right to independence and sovereignty,” he said.
