The intense rains recorded in the state of Anzoátegui, as a result of the passage of Tropical Wave number 29, caused various incidents in that entity, where security and rescue forces are active to deal with emergencies resulting from the atmospheric phenomenon.

One of the most important events was the fall of trees near the Dr. Luis Razetti Hospital in Barcelona, causing damage to several vehicles parked there.

The authorities reported that there were no people injured, although risk assessment work is ongoing in vulnerable areas, as reported through social networks by the Single Authority of the Integrated System for Risk Management and Management of Civil Emergencies and Disasters of the state of Anzoátegui, Power Cano.

In addition, Cano stated that civil protection teams, firefighters, and police officers at the municipal and state levels continue to be deployed in monitoring, damage verification and direct care for affected communities. Actions include preventive tours and immediate response to citizen reports.

At the same time, crews from the Anzoátegui Road and Infrastructure Corporation are carrying out manual cleaning work on the Guzmán Lander channel, located on Jorge Rodríguez Intercommunal Avenue.

This artery connects the municipalities of Bolívar, Sotillo and Urbaneja, and presented blockages in the drainage system that also impacted Nueva Esparta Avenue.

Regional authorities keep track of weather conditions and urge the population to keep informed through official channels.

The technical-operational deployment will continue as long as the effects of the tropical wave persist on the territory.
