SENAMECF holds Forensic Expo in Maracaibo

In the Ana María Campos Park in the city of Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia, the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF), held the Forensic Expo.
The Forensic Expo was led by the director general of SENAMECF, Lissett Moreno, who highlighted the relevance of the execution of forensic medicine, both to prevent criminal acts and to protect the human rights of the community in general.
“Our commitment is to educate and sensitize the population about the fundamental role we play in justice and security,” he said, a SENAMECF press review.
Moreno emphasized that prevention is a task for all citizens, so he urged the Venezuelan population to build, together with the Bolivarian Government, a more informed and secure society.
For his part, the coordinator of SENAMECF in the Maracaibo municipality of the Zulia region, Iván Mavarez, stressed the importance of collaboration between institutions and the community to create a safer and more conscious environment.
At the forensic exhibition, experts in the field provided the Marabina community with all the necessary knowledge about the importance of forensic medicine in society.
They also presented information plans, exhibitions of forensic techniques and interactive workshops that facilitated the presentation of the work carried out by SENAMECF.
