SENIAT raised more than 459 billion bolivars in 2024

This Thursday, January 2, the National Integrated Customs and Tax Administration Service (SENIAT) reported that in 2024 it raised 459 billion 524 million 335 thousand 303 bolivars, as an effort made by the State to promote and favor various economic sectors of the Nation.

Through a press release, SENIAT indicated that the actions were carried out in compliance with the instructions of the citizen president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and in accordance with the guidelines of the National Customs and Tax Superintendent, José David Cabello Rondón.

In this regard, Superintendent Cabello Rondón indicated the breakdown of the income received from the various incomes from January to December were: Income Tax (ISLR) of 195 billion 323 million 171 thousand 230 bolivars, while the amount collected from Value Added Tax (VAT) is 143 billion 114 million 311 thousand 309 bolivars.

In terms of customs, 69 billion 632 million 97 thousand 629 bolivars were reached and what was obtained in other Internal Revenues is 51 billion 454 million 755 thousand 135 bolivars. In terms of internal income, it includes tax revenues for cigarettes, liquor, inheritances, fines, interest and other items.

Superintendent Cabello Rondón said that these figures reflect the commitment of the Venezuelan people to tax culture, in addition to expressing the clear intention of the Bolivarian Government to continue collecting resources for the social welfare of the people.
