Simon Bolivar School Ship to Arrive at Mexican Ports

From May 13 to 26, the “Simon Bolivar” Training Ship will arrive at Mexican ports, as part of the XXXV Foreign Education Cruise “Caribbean Alliance 2025”.
Their first stop in Mexico will be at the Port of Tampico, where the Aztec people can enjoy the experience of discovering the emblem ship of the Bolivarian Navy from May 13 to 17, while from May 21 to 25 the boat will be in the Port of Veracruz.
During its berth in Tampico, Tamaulipas state, the visiting hours for the general public will be Tuesday the 13th, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm; Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th and Friday 16th May, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm; while Saturday, May 17 will be from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
In addition, as part of its programming, the School Ship will open its doors for guided and coordinated tours with schools in the municipalities of Tampico, Ciudad Madero and Altamira.
The crew, which includes third-year cadets from the Military Academy of the Bolivarian Navy, will have activities on deck and on the ground, including official visits to military institutions, historical and cultural centers, as well as sports exchanges.
The emblematic sailboat, known as the Ambassador Without Borders, is a symbol of the Venezuelan Navy and a key tool for cadet training and international diplomacy. Its role: to form the new military generation in sailing, seafaring and leadership.
The visit of the flagship reinforces the historic ties between Venezuela and Mexico, and promotes the values of sovereignty, peace and solidarity, which unite both republics.
