In the 15 municipalities of the state of Guárico, the Simulation for Disasters and Armed Conflicts was carried out to prepare the people how to act in situations of natural disasters and/or aggressions against our country, said the governor of that entity, Donald Donaire.

In statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he indicated that these maneuvers, called by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in addition to the organized people, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Civil Protection, the Bolivarian Militia and the Bolivarian National Police participated.

“The entire town of Guárico is participating in these exercises in a perfect popular military-police merger. All of us are preparing to face any circumstance, whether natural disasters or some type of armed intervention against our people,” he said.

For his part, M/G Roiman Hernández, commander of the Los Llanos Strategic Integral Defense Region (REDI), assured that these types of maneuvers are of vital importance to raise the level of operational readiness of the FANB in conjunction with organized Popular Power.
