The Archdiocese of Barquisimeto announced that the Solemn Descent of the Sacred Image of the Divine Shepherdess will take place on January 5.

The information was released through a statement, published on his account on the social network Instagram.

This emblematic event marks the beginning of the Marian festivities that take place in January of each year, giving the people of Santa Rosa the joy of receiving their exalted patron saint.

This year, the faithful will also be able to participate virtually, as the ceremony will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Archdiocese of Barquisimeto.

The traditional 7.5-kilometer route will begin in the town of Santa Rosa, passing through platforms located at strategic points in Barquisimeto, such as Lara Avenue with Bracamonte, Plaza Macario Yépez and Venezuela Avenue, until arriving at the Barquisimeto Cathedral at 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
