Starting this Monday, Troncal 05 in San Cristóbal will be partially closed due to road maintenance

The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (MPPT) reported that the partial closure of Troncal 05, Los Peluches sector, San Cristóbal municipality, in the state of Táchira, will take place from Monday, September 22 to September 25, in order to carry out work to recover the road section affected by recent rains in the Andean Region.

In its account on the social network Instagram, the ministerial body specified that the closure will be from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. In a statement, the agency urged drivers to take the necessary preventive measures and thanked citizens for their collaboration in these tasks that guarantee safety and mobility.

During the days of closure, only the controlled passage of pedestrians and motorcycles will be allowed, while repair work is being carried out.

The Bolivarian Government has a road maintenance plan in place in areas affected by tropical waves, with the purpose of protecting the integrity of the inhabitants and restoring safe traffic in the country's main road corridors.
