WE REJECT IMPERIAL AGGRESSION: THE JUDICIARY OF THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA JOINS THE DEFENSE OF ITS CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT AND ITS PEOPLE

The Supreme Court of Justice of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on behalf of the Judiciary, categorically rejects and repudiates the infamous aggression by the United States government against the Constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros and a courageous and dignified people, who have fought at all times to preserve peace, being an example not only of democracy, but of coexistence and autonomous economic development, despite multiple imperial sanctions and economic blockades.

In Venezuela, we understand that peace is the fundamental pillar on which progress is built, so this type of aggression is completely unacceptable. The stability of our institutions, which are constantly developing to respond to the needs of the Nation, is strengthened by the leadership and awareness of organized popular power, which actively participates in the oversight of legality and in the promotion of the general welfare of the country, in strict accordance with the Constitution and the laws.

This new action undoubtedly constitutes an interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela, a flagrant violation of international law, an attack on sovereignty and a serious offense against the Venezuelan people, acts that are not justified in any way and that seek, through an unrealistic narrative, to strengthen psychological warfare and false propaganda, which for years has tried to undermine democracy in our country.

President Nicolás Maduro Moros has backed a firm policy against terrorist gangs, organized crime and drug trafficking.

In addition, the Supreme Court of Justice expresses its solidarity with other National Public Powers, in the development of all necessary legal actions and mechanisms that allow the protection of the physical integrity of the Constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the defense of the sovereignty of Venezuela.

The Supreme Court of Justice of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on behalf of the entire Judiciary, ratifies its support for the Constitutional President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and reaffirms its commitment to the Sovereignty, Independence and Defense of all Venezuelans.
