The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Caryslia Rodríguez, rejected through a statement the interventionist actions in the internal affairs of Venezuela and the new coercive measures imposed by the United States Government on the nation.

From the headquarters of the Supreme Court of Justice in Venezuela, Rodríguez repudiated these actions, which he described as colonialist and recurrent against officials of the Venezuelan Public Authorities, who in all these years have been committed to maintaining peace and stability in the country.

In this regard, he reaffirmed that these measures transgress “the universally accepted principles of international law such as self-determination and democracy, which in the Venezuelan Constitutional System is exercised sovereignly by the People.”

“As the sons and daughters of Simón Bolívar, we are not going to succumb to foreign forces, much less to bow to foreign forces, which is why this Supreme Court of Justice has been contesting and promoting peace in Venezuela and our decisions have been focused on the national legal system, so that justice can be put before any obstacle,” he stressed and extended his solidarity with the other Venezuelan Public Powers that today are also attacked and insulted by imperial onslaught.

It should be noted that the United States Department of the Treasury imposed new sanctions against judges Caryslia Rodríguez, Fanny Márquez, Inocencio Figueroa, Malaquías Rodríguez, Juan Carlos Hidalgo and Judge Eduard Briceño.
