This Friday, August 08, the deputy to the National Assembly, Tania Díaz, emphasized that today, thanks to the civic-military-police merger, promoted by the Bolivarian Revolution, Venezuela is at peace throughout the national territory.
“Thanks to all the civic-military-police merger, today we are in a country at peace,” Díaz said during his program Sin Truco Ni Maña, in which he stressed that recently, thanks to State security agencies, a terrorist attack by the Venezuelan extreme right was dismantled, in which they intended to detonate explosives in the area of Plaza Venezuela, in Caracas.
For his part, the governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, also reaffirmed that today the People have only one consensus and that is the peace of the Fatherland. “It's not just that he wants peace, but he's going to defend his peace,” he said.
With regard to the sectors of the extreme right, Caldera pointed out that violent and destabilizing behavior has always been part of that political sector. At the same time, he considered that these plans to revive violence in the country are due to the fact that these opponents are defeated, while the country moves forward with the holding of elections and the reactivation of the economy.
“That has always been the behavior of these politicians (of the extreme right); and in the Zulian case, now they also have a defeat on their backs, because they know that the Zuliano people have awakened, the Zuliano people also want peace (...) and their plan is exposed when you see that the country is moving forward,” he said.
In addition, he reaffirmed that today a new opposition is being born, referring to the sector that participated in elections and that seeks to work with President Nicolás Maduro, because he is the one who has taken the lead in peace and has worked for the welfare of the people. “Look, this is a very big tragedy for them (the extreme right) because they are single souls, they are souls in pain; because here the Venezuelan people are riding on peace, stability and economic development,” he said.
