Teachers begin to receive housing as part of the Special Teacher Care Plan

Housing, credits for white lines, construction materials, and other benefits received this Wednesday by teachers from all over the country, as part of the special social care plan being carried out by the National Government for this union.

During the day, 48 teachers received houses (two per state), while the award was announced through the Gran Misión Vivienda Venezuela (GMVV) of another 24 this week. In addition, 48 teachers received construction materials, said the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez.

President Nicolás Maduro aspires to work progressively on this special care plan so that all education workers, not only teachers, but also workers, administrative staff and mother cooks live in decent conditions and we are going to achieve this with the support of the institutions of the Bolivarian Government,” said Rodríguez.

From the National House of Letters Andrés Bello, in Caracas, the head of Education explained that this special plan consists of eight dimensions: health, housing, training, recreation, food, uniforms, transportation and line of credit. It is being developed throughout the country thanks to the joint work of several institutions of the national Government.

According to a press release from the Education Department, the minister reported that to date, about 20,000 surgical interventions, more than 12,000 ophthalmological studies and almost 6,000 preoperative studies have been performed.

In addition, progress is being made in the delivery of footwear and uniforms, scholarships for teachers studying postgraduate studies at the Samuel Robinson National Experimental Teaching University and recreational days.
