Teams qualified for Round Robin chose their reinforcements

The Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) held the Additions and Replacements Draft this Tuesday, in which the five teams qualified for the 2024-2025 Round Robin chose their reinforcements for the postseason. In this sense, there were two rounds of additions and one of substitutions, which was carried out in the order in which the ninths ranked all against all.

The Cardinals of Lara chose Harold Castro, of the Caracas Lions, as their first option; and Arnaldo Hernández, of the Tiburones de La Guaira, as their second addition. Meanwhile, Margarita's Braves selected Jesús Vargas de los Leones and Herlis Rodríguez de los Caribes.

For their part, the Águilas del Zulia added pitchers Pedro Rodríguez from the sharks and Liarvis Breto from the Caribes. The Magallanes Navigators were reinforced by two players from Los Tiburones: Gabriel Arias and Yangervis Solarte. Finally, the Tigres de Aragua decided on the serpentineers Ben Braymer of the hairy band and Yapson Gómez de los Tiburones.

As for the round of substitutions, the people from Larense selected José Rondón; the island team chose Oswaldo Arcia, for Isaki Ninomiya; the raptors took Richard Guasch from the Caribes, for Felipe Tejada; and the Navegantes took Tyler Alexander from La Guaira. The Tigers, on the other hand, chose Alcides Escobar from La Guaira, for Kennys Hernández.

It should be noted that the Round Robin round starts on December 27.
