A technical-productive training day brought together families from the Edoardo Crema Transitional Camp, who participated in activities aimed at strengthening practical skills during their temporary stay.

The Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (Mincyt) and the National Institute for Socialist Training and Education (INCES) gave workshops aimed at men and women of the Edoardo Crema Transitional Camp, located in the parish of El Paraíso, in Caracas.

The representative of FUNDACITE Caracas, Guillermina Colmenarez, highlighted that more than 12 participants received certificates in design and sewing, hairdressing, arts and crafts, crafts and manicure. “Thanks to INCES, today Edoardo Crema's campers are being certified and we can guarantee them a decent home and a profession.”

Among the testimonies, the participant Josmari Rodríguez expressed her gratitude for the training received, which will allow her to strengthen her productive activity: “I really think it's an excellent experience where I also learned things I didn't know, even though I'm a seamstress. But I learned about crafts and I know that through these training you can go further in terms of productivity”.

These initiatives provide practical tools and technical-productive options to participants during their stay.

Transitional camps are temporary shelter spaces set up by the Venezuelan State to provide comprehensive care and protect families who lost their homes after the earthquake of June 24.
