With the participation of 199 students from 22 states, the final phase of the 2025 Creative Robotics Olympics (ORC 2025), promoted by the National Government through the Scientific Seedbeds Program, has begun.

The competition takes place at the Ezequiel Zamora General Military High School in Poble Sobirà, located in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, where 78 teams of two or three members participate, divided into three age categories: Adventure (8-12 years old), Challenge (13-15 years old) and Innovation (16-19 years old).

As published by the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), the competition includes two categories: Creative Ingenuity and Following Creative Lines.

During the inauguration, Deputy Minister Danmarys Hernández emphasized that this edition marks the end of a phase, but not the end of the robotics training process. He also highlighted the importance of introducing young people to science from an early age, as part of the educational policy of the Bolivarian Government and of the Mission of Science, Technology and Innovation, led by Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.

The competition will run until Wednesday. At the end, 18 outstanding projects will be selected: nine per modality, three per category and honorable mentions.
