The governor of the Delta Amacuro state, Loa Tamaronis, reported the deployment of municipal, regional and national institutions in El Garcero and La Calceta, where it was agreed with farmers to remove herds after detecting cracks in the retaining wall.
Over the weekend, agencies carried out preventive actions in areas vulnerable to the increase in the flow of the Orinoco. In Coporito, Tucupita municipality, drainage and water extraction were adapted.
In addition, the monitoring of the behavior of the river in Delta Amacuro and the continuation of the distribution of inputs in sectors of the entity.
In the same way, in Coporito, brigades installed pipes to evacuate the accumulated liquid, after the river level exceeded several houses.
