The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, accompanied by the mayor of Puerto La Cruz, Nelson Moreno, handed over the completely rehabilitated Type III Popular Clinic in San Diego .
Among the tasks carried out in the Office, the waterproofing of roofs, internal and external painting, restoration of bathrooms, rehabilitation and replacement of doors, as well as the air conditioning of all spaces stand out. Additionally, medical residency was improved to ensure the permanence of staff.
In this regard, Marcano highlighted that CPT III San Diego is a crucial point for the medical care of the inhabitants of the rural area of Sotillo, which guarantees access to immediate health services to some 28 communities.
Mayor Nelson Moreno added that seven air conditioners were installed to optimize recovered health spaces and that from now on they will offer emergency medical care, in addition to consultations in general medicine and pediatrics.
