The Bolivarian Government rehabilitated more than 70 stilts in a sector of the Coquivacoa parish in Maracaibo, Zulia state.
“We have been with them for the past two months, comprehensively rehabilitating seventy-eight houses and the pedestrian bridges through which the community communicates and has access to the mainland,” said the president of the Corporation for the Development of the Zulian Region (CORPOZULIA), Néstor Reverol.
In this regard, he explained that these works have been carried out through the Corpozulia 1×10 Solution Brigades and the Institute for the Control and Conservation of the Lake Maracaibo Basin (ICLAM), together with the action of Popular Power.
“We will continue to join forces for our state of Zulia. We have honored the families of the Los Palafitos sector, here in the community of Santa Rosa de Agua in this populous Maracaibera parish, in order to maintain the quality of life they deserve in their own habitat and in accordance with their customs,” said Reverol.
