The Comptroller General of Venezuela, Jhosnel Peraza Machado, met with part of the management team of his incumbent institution (CGR) to take stock, specifically, of the completion of the day to update the Affidavit of Heritage (DJP), corresponding to the year 2024 and highlighted the massive participation of reporting staff, which rose to 91.8%, as well as the importance of complying with this legal commitment.

It is also important to highlight that the fiscal control body decided to hold academic days prior to the beginning of the process, through training aimed at members of the National Public Administration (APN), where priority was given to the importance of keeping the DJP up to date and complying with the legal duty. In the same way, multiple meetings, working tables, virtual meetings and ongoing attention to institutions were held for the effective performance of the duty of public servants.

As part of the initiatives of the CGR, the different bodies and entities that make up the APN were visited, through training days for the DJP, during which advice and direct attention were offered to public employees. The Office of the Comptroller General affirms a positive balance inherent to the process of updating the 2024 Affidavit of Assets and reiterates its commitment to the prevention and control of corruption.
