The National Government carried out comprehensive care days for families in Apurea affected by the recent rains

More than 45 families from the Jivi indigenous community, in the Gran Samaria Commune in the Páez municipality of Apure state, received a day of comprehensive medical care, as part of the actions carried out by the National Government to attack the inhabitants of this plain town affected by the recent rains.
According to information released by the Ministry of Health, general medicine, immunization, deworming and drug delivery were provided during the day.
In addition, among the actions carried out by the Health portfolio, the actions of the plan for the prevention and control of dengue fever were intensified. Fumigation, abatement and distribution of tablets for water purification were carried out, with the objective of reducing the risk of diseases and protecting the health of the affected population.
In addition to these actions, medical materials were distributed in the Cavanerio (La Esperanza), sector 13 de Septembre (San José) and Barra Vieja (Garabato street), benefiting more than 700 families.
