This Sunday, November 9th, the People of Aragua continue with their Assemblies for the nomination and election of the Integral Base Bolivarian Committees (CBBI) of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), a new organizational structure that seeks to strengthen popular participation and collective work in communities.
From the Girardot municipality, residents participated in the street meetings to form the teams that will replace the figure of the street boss with a group of spokespersons committed to community tasks and the strengthening of the party at the grassroots.
In addition, community spokespersons emphasized that the process is carried out in accordance with the Regulations for the Nomination and Election of the CBBI, which establish the rules and procedures for the creation of these structures at all territorial levels.
These activities are part of President Nicolás Maduro's guidelines, emanating from the most recent 5th Congress of the PSUV, where the renewal of basic structures was proposed to consolidate the new system of communal government throughout the country.
The application days take place this weekend in the different municipalities of Aragüeña, while communities that fail to hold their meetings will have November 15 and 16 to complete the process.
