After an intense training program, the Society for Mutual Guarantees for Small and Medium Enterprises in the Tourism Sector (SOGATUR) awarded certificates to 110 tourism volunteers in the city of Caracas with the objective of strengthening the promotion and development of community tourism projects.
The delivery took place at the facilities of the Dr. Salvador Allende Latin American School of Medicine, with the participation of a multidisciplinary team from the Municipal Tourism Institute of Caracas. The brigade members concluded a cycle designed to create tourism initiatives in the capital's parishes.
The participants, who began their work in the solution caravans of the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, received training on key issues such as business structure, legalization and contribution plan, tourism legislation and brand identification.
With these initiatives, the national Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, promotes technical training and promotes the development of projects that directly benefit the country's communities.
