The paramos of Merida received snowfall again, providing travelers and residents with an unusual setting during the Major Week.

Among the outstanding sites are the Stone Chapel in Mucuchí, the Mucubají Lagoon and the Sierra Nevada, where the Mukumbarí Cable Car reported snow at the Pico Espejo station, generating interest in national and international tourists.

The phenomenon reached the Via Trasandina, in the Sierra La Culata National Park, a space frequented by those who seek to record images and explore typical Andean vegetation, such as frailejón. In addition, the Sierra Nevada National Park, known for its natural wealth, continues to be an important center for activities such as hiking and skiing.
