Türkiye's Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, urged Israel to allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, opening all border crossings.

The statement was made on Wednesday in Ankara, during a joint press conference with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty.

Fidan said that HAMAS (Palestinian Resistance Movement) has been willing to maintain the truce and that it is up to Israel to adopt an equivalent response. He stressed that the removal of restrictions at border posts is essential to ensure the arrival of supplies.

The cessation of hostilities began on October 10, after the first phase of the agreement promoted by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, which provided for the return of hostages and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Strip.

The release of Palestinian prisoners and the repatriation of Israeli prisoners were part of the agreement, but delays in the delivery of the bodies generated tensions that led to new attacks ordered by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on October 28, leaving more than a hundred victims.
