The students of the Experimental Security University (UNES) actively participated in the national simulation of civil protection and people's preparation, sharing with Venezuelans some of the knowledge they have acquired, in terms of dealing with emergency situations, during their academic training, said the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, Admiral Juan Carlos Oti.

“This is part of their training, of the teachings given. With this preparation we are also teaching our people, we are doing a great job for our country, for life and peace,” said Oti in an interview with Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

In the same way, the Deputy Minister indicated that during the day, different protocols were tested in 411 scenarios in the country in order to verify their effectiveness and, if necessary, correct any weaknesses that may exist.

He also highlighted that emergency prevention and care plans are closely linked to the security policy of the Peace Quadrants and organized communities.

In this regard, he invited communities to draw up a risk map that would allow them to know what to do if an incident occurred in their territory. As an example of these irrigation maps, he pointed out all the plans to mitigate the effects caused by the rains.
