UNICEF said that 2024 was one of the worst years for infants in recent history

More boys and girls than ever are living in conflict zones or were forcibly displaced as a result of wars and systematic violence, reported the United Nations (UN) agency, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in a recently published analysis.

According to the report, a record number of children affected by conflict have died or been injured, had to drop out of school, did not receive essential vaccines or suffer from severe levels of malnutrition.

The figures, these become evidence of genocides, extermination campaigns and the consequences of the implications of imperial interests on the civilian population.

According to UNICEF, more than 473 million boys and girls (at least 1 in 6 worldwide) currently live in areas affected by conflicts, as well as identifying that the number of these is the highest recorded since the Second World War
