This Monday, the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump issued a warning to the homeless who live in the country's capital, Washington DC. He added that he will offer details about his plans to make the U.S. capital “safer and more beautiful than ever” at a press conference this Monday.

“I'm going to make our capital safer and (be) more beautiful than ever. The homeless must leave immediately. We will give them a place to stay, but far from the capital,” wrote the president of the United States in his Truth Social account.

With those who commit crimes, he was more blunt: “Offenders, you don't have to leave. We'll put them in jail, which is where they belong.” “Everything is going to happen very quickly, just like at the border. We went from millions of people entering zero in recent months. This will be easier, get ready! There will be no 'Mr. Kind. ' We want to recover our capital,” he said.

Last week, Trump ordered federal security agencies to increase their presence on the capital's streets for seven days, with the possibility of extending the deadline.

During Friday night, agencies such as the Secret Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Marshals Service assigned more than 120 additional agents and officers to collaborate in security efforts in the city.

The president also stated that he is evaluating mechanisms for the federal government to assume control of the administration of Washington DC, asserting that the city is “unsafe”.
