As part of the safe vacation program, the Vacation Plan “In Sucre We Have Fun 2024" was completed, which offers the community, and especially older adults and people with disabilities, a space for recreation and enjoyment in a safe environment.


The event was held in the Waraira Reparo National Park, where a total of 51 beneficiaries were served, of whom 39 were women and 6 men, as well as 2 people with disabilities. The activity was organized by the Department of Education of the Mayor's Office of the Sucre Municipality, under the direction of Professor Luisa Parra.


The Civil Protection team of the Sucre Municipality, led by rescuer Jorge Paredes and paramedic Josmar Barreto, guaranteed the safety of all participants throughout the day, which took place without news.


The event included the active participation of coordinators and administrative staff: José Manuel Suárez. Milanyela Bello, Edict Chacon, Yaneth Chirino, Glenda Duarte, Gleinnys Duarte. Administrative staff part of the work team of the Directorate of Education: Alejandra Campos. Mary Sanabria, Olga Machado, Angel Rodríguez, Hortensia Toro, Amirca Dibel, Manuel Medina, Ines Herrera, who worked hard to make this activity a success.


The participants thanked the Ministry of Tourism who, through the Department of Tourism, led by Elaine Hernández, carried out this vacation plan that reinforces their commitment to the well-being and fun of the community.


It should be noted that this program offers alternative classrooms, the community in general and the Elderly “We Are All the Same” Children's Workshop with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders) and Older Adults.


Finally, the program is part of the lines of national government led by the workers' and peace president, Nicolás Maduro, who, through the Mayor of the Sucre municipality, José Vicente Rangel and the deputy Gabriela Chacón, promote the recreation and recreation of the Mirandinos.
