Valencia Independent Film Festival 2025 starts this Thursday

With the aim of promoting the development of films made in Venezuela, the third edition of the Valencia Independent Film Festival 2025 will kick off this Thursday at the Municipal Theater, with Russia as its guest country this year.

In this regard, the director of the organizing committee, Daniel Siugza, announced the details of this great National Film Festival, which included the registration of 283 audiovisual pieces by filmmakers, cultors and producers from 20 states across the country.

He explained that the third Valencia Independent Film Festival 2025 will open its doors this Thursday, June 19 and will welcome audiences from Valencia and all regions of the country, until Saturday, June 21, who, in addition to the screening of the works, will also be able to enjoy a varied agenda of activities that include workshops, seminars, talks, as well as musical and cultural presentations.

He emphasized that thanks to the support of Governor Rafael Lacava, “access to all screenings and activities of the Festival will be completely free, so that all Valencians, Carabobeños and those who visit us from other parts of the country can fully enjoy this great event.”

In the same way, through the La Escuela va al Teatro program, of the Mayor's Office of Valencia, boys and girls from 40 schools in Valencia will also enjoy the third Independent Film Festival.
