Venezuela and China reviewed the bilateral cooperation agenda

Diplomats evaluated the progress of brotherhood relations

The Deputy Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Tatiana Pugh, held a meeting with the ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Lan Hu, to address issues on the bilateral agenda and the international arena, the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs (MPPRE) reports on its website.

During the meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, the diplomats evaluated the progress of brotherhood relations, especially in the economic and cultural sectors; which have resulted in the signing of more than 600 implemented projects and more than five hundred agreements signed.

‎Las authorities took advantage of the space to confirm the deep conviction of these countries to achieve peace, harmony, a community with a shared future and universal balance in the world, based on the Strategic Partnership at All Times and Every Test.

‎Las formal diplomatic relations were established in 1974, but cooperation intensified significantly after the arrival of Commander Hugo Chávez, who began to forge solid ties, continued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
