Venezuela and Colombia reviewed the bilateral energy agenda

The Executive Vice President of the Republic and Minister of the People's Power of Hydrocarbons, Delcy Rodríguez, this Thursday, July 03, held a meeting with the Minister of Mines and Energy of Colombia, Edwin Palma, to review the bilateral energy agenda and explore new opportunities for cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons.
Rodríguez, in his account on the social network Telegram, said that “we are reviewing the energy agenda between both nations and are exploring new areas of cooperation in the field of hydrocarbons”
“On behalf of President @ NicolasMaduromoros, we reaffirm Venezuela's willingness to strengthen cooperation between our countries for the mutual benefit of the Peoples,” he stressed.
During the activity carried out in the spaces of the “Aquiles Nazoa” Cultural House in Miranda state, the authorities of both nations reiterated the importance of strengthening joint alliances based on principles of cooperation, brotherhood and complementarity, with the objective of building a stronger and more beneficial relationship for both peoples.
The meeting was also attended by the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Colombia, Carlos Martínez Mendoza; the vice president of Public Works and Services, Jorge Márquez; the president of Petroleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), Jorge Obregón, and the president of Petrochemistry of Venezuela (PEQUIVEN), Román Maniglia.
Representing the Colombian delegation, the plenipotentiary ambassador of Colombia to Venezuela, Milton Rengifo, and the president of the National Mining Agency, Luciano Sanín Vásquez, were present.
