Venezuela and Cuba establish Working Group to strengthen trade

A Working Group to specify the export of Venezuelan products to Cuba was activated between the two nations with the purpose of consolidating the commercial ties of the sister republics, as reported by the Minister of National Trade, Luis Antonio Villegas.

“A multidisciplinary commission appointed by our President Nicolás Maduro attended this working table. In addition, we held a meeting with private businessmen from our sister Cuban Republic to strengthen these ties,” he said.

Also present at the meeting were the Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, G/D Menry Fernández, and the president of Marca-País and the Export Promotion Agency, Daniella Cabello.

In 2024, during the 40th edition of the Havana International Fair, an update of the portfolio of business opportunities in Cuba was presented, which included 607 investment projects distributed in all provinces of the country.
