The executive vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported on her official Telegram channel that she held a meeting with the delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), as part of the strengthening of bilateral ties between the two nations.

“We met with the delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba to strengthen our ties of friendship and cooperation in the face of current geopolitical challenges and imperial aggressions against our peoples. We will continue to build concrete work agendas between the PSUV and the PCC within the framework of the Cuba-Venezuela Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement to overcome the criminal economic blockade of which both countries are victims,” said Rodríguez.

Rodríguez reaffirmed the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the defense of the historical ideals shared by both countries. “Stronger than ever defending the project of Bolivar and Martí, of Chávez and Fidel!” , concluded.

This meeting comes after a series of meetings held by representatives of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), who in recent years have signed political, diplomatic and communication cooperation agreements. These agreements have allowed joint action in ideological formation, party organization and mutual support in the face of external aggression, consolidating a strategic alliance that transcends the governmental sphere and serves as an axis of regional unity in the face of current challenges.
