Venezuela and Jordan sign instrument to strengthen alliance in the field of tourism

The Venezuelan Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Leticia Gómez, and her Jordanian counterpart, Emad Naim Hejazeen, signed an instrument to strengthen the alliance in the field of tourism between the two nations.

The document signed within the framework of the 26th United Nations General Assembly for Tourism, establishes a road map for strengthening cooperation, exchange of experiences and optimization of the tourism sector. This action consolidates 71 years of relationship between Caracas and Amman.

The memorandum also contemplates the implementation of exchange programs for the development of human talent, investment promotion and the visit of tour operators, as well as media that promote destination management. In addition to participation in fairs and exchanges of technological experiences and innovation in the sector.

Gómez explained that the signing of this document strengthens a solid relationship with the government of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to position the South American nation as a multi-destination and peaceful country.
