Venezuela and Kenya confirm their intention to move forward in expanding cooperation

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a meeting with his first Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, Musalia Mudavadi.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil specified that the state of bilateral relations, established on April 30, 1970, was reviewed and the intention to move forward in expanding cooperation through a joint commission was ratified.

“Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to strengthening alliances that promote a multipolar world order,” said the foreign minister.

“In a new phase of diplomatic ties formalized 55 years ago, on December 5, 2024, the President of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, received Credential Letters from Venezuelan Ambassador Moravia Peralta Hernández, on which occasion he reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations,” the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry reported.
