Venezuela and Russia review the binational strategic agenda

This meeting reaffirms the political will of both governments to consolidate a solid geopolitical alliance in defense of national sovereignty and global multipolarity.

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that she met with the Russian ambassador to Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, in which both nations reviewed the progress of their binational agenda.

The meeting took place within the framework of the Partnership and Strategic Cooperation Agreement, signed in May 2025 by Presidents Nicolás Maduro and Vladimir Putin.

“We reiterate our gratitude for Russia's unconditional support for Venezuela, in the face of the growing threat from the U.S. government. We advocate the construction of a world of peace where the self-determination of Peoples prevails,” said Vice President Rodríguez.

Rodríguez emphasized that Venezuela and Russia continue to strengthen their strategic ties, guided by the principles of social justice, independence and mutual respect.
