Venezuela and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines strengthen fishing ties with ALBA Azul

Venezuela and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, this Friday, October 3rd, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation in fisheries matters within the framework of the ALBA Azul initiative.

The information was released by the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Treaty for the Peoples (ALBA-TCP), through a publication on its Telegram channel.

From the headquarters of PESCALBA (Socialist Industrial Fishing Company of ALBA), located in the city of Cumaná, in eastern Venezuela, the above-mentioned Memorandum was signed, which includes among its actions: fishing training, acquisition of boats for tuna fishing in the Caribbean, research and technical collaboration, among the most important points.

For Venezuela, the Minister of Popular Power for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Juan Carlos Loyo, signed the Memorandum, while for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labor, Saboto Caesar, signed the Memorandum .
