Venezuela and the Republic of Niger strengthen bilateral ties

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting this Tuesday, September 30, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Nigeriens Abroad of the Republic of Niger, Yaou Sangaré Bakary, with the purpose of strengthening bilateral ties and advancing a common agenda aimed at the sovereign development of its Peoples.
Both authorities agreed on the defense of self-determination as a guiding principle in the construction of a multicentric and multipolar international order.
The meeting takes place close to the next commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Venezuela and Niger, formalized on October 8, 2005.
Since then, both nations have maintained a relationship characterized by mutual respect, solidarity and non-interference, elements that underpin strategic cooperation.
During the day, existing collaboration mechanisms were reviewed and new areas of exchange were evaluated in key sectors, where they agreed to move forward in the design of a concrete agenda that would expand the scope of joint projects, such as education, culture and production, among other areas.
This diplomatic approach reaffirms the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to peace diplomacy, promoted by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, which strengthens the fabric of international alliances based on equity, respect and cooperation between Peoples.
