Venezuela and Türkiye confirm willingness to move forward in joint cooperation

Relations between Caracas and Ankara have strengthened in recent years, due to high-level visits by delegations from both States

The Deputy Minister for Europe and North America of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Andrea Corao, held a meeting this Wednesday, at the “Antonio José de Sucre” Yellow House, in Caracas, with the ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye accredited to Venezuela, Naci Aydan Karamanoglu, in which they ratified the shared will of their governments to advance joint and mutual cooperation beneficial to their peoples.

During the meeting, the Turkish diplomat extended his congratulations to the Deputy Minister for the appointment and both reiterated their countries' willingness to continue working hand in hand in the different areas of bilateral cooperation.

Recently, in the context of his swearing in for the new constitutional period 2025-2031, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, received the Minister of Tourism of the Eurasian country, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, with the objective of strengthening cultural, tourist and economic cooperation.

Relations between Caracas and Ankara have strengthened in recent years, due to high-level visits by delegations from both States. This 2025 will celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations, framed in the construction of a solid bilateral relationship based on mutual respect, in order to promote the construction of a new multipolar, fairer and more equitable world.
