Venezuela brought artistic magic to the Children's Festival in Cuba (+Comunicalle)

The communicational artistic collective Comunicalle, attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Communication and Information, participated in the Sixth International Meeting of Arts for Happy Hearts, held in Havana, Cuba, to share part of its career through music and theater.

This international event is artistically directed by Rubén Darío Salazar and produced by Rochi Ameneiro, and together with a team of artists and producers committed to children, they have brought together hundreds of Cuban boys and girls, in theatrical shows, concerts, workshops and other activities.

Comunicalle shared its experiences and work philosophy in a master class led by its director Armando Carías, held in the Teresita Fernández Room, of the Casa Corazón Feliz, where its emblematic characters were also present, such as La Matria, Manuelita, Celuleitor, musicians, singers and other actors of the collective.

Artistic agenda

On May 28, from the theater hall of the Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, La Banda de Plastilina, twice received boys and girls from different schools, who danced, sang and played to the rhythm of the songs of the Venezuelan children's songbook.

On May 30, Director Carías held a cordial meeting with the Venezuelan ambassador to Cuba, Orlando Maneiro, who, together with the Minister Counselor of that Embassy, Reinaldo Segovia, expressed their desire to strengthen the objectives of the Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland.

During their stay in Cuba, the group has actively participated in the various meetings, talks, workshops and functions that take place at this Sixth International Happy Heart Meeting.

Comunicalle also attended the concert dedicated to Teresita Fernández, the troubadour who dedicated her life to children's music. In the same way, the group has participated in various training workshops, such as the one given by the members of the Argentinian group Pim Pau in a theoretical-practical workshop on music for boys and girls, as well as the work of the Argentinian plastic artist, Estrellita Caracol.

The Venezuelan delegation is made up of actresses Vanessa Rondón and Laura Peña, actors Keudy López and Alejandro Serrano, musicians Ricardo Martínez, Rafael Jiménez, Raúl Díaz, Yadira Gonzáles and Elena Gil, accompanied by producer Mariela Betancourt and general director Armando Carías, with information from national media.
