The Government of Venezuela congratulated the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, on his re-election during the elections this Sunday, where he won with 86.82% of the votes.

Through a statement released by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his social networks, Venezuela congratulated the outstanding citizen partition in the elections, while reaffirming its friendship with this country.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela congratulates the people and government of the Republic of Belarus for the massive participation of citizens in the presidential elections, which registered an outstanding participation of 85.70%.

This democratic exercise represents a sign of the commitment of the Belarusian people to peace, stability and their sovereignty. It also extends its sincerest congratulations to President Aleksandr Lukashenko for his re-election with the support of 86.82% of the votes, which reflects the confidence of the population in his leadership to guide the country during the period 2025-2030.

Venezuela reaffirms its friendship and brotherhood with Belarus, countries united by the shared values of mutual respect, sovereignty and independence, and expresses the will to continue strengthening bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.

The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela renews its commitment to building a multicentric and multipolar world, based on solidarity and understanding between nations.
