A Venezuelan
delegation led by the Minister of Popular Power for
Ecosocialism, Ricardo Molina, participated in the 47th session
of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee in Paris, France.
“Venezuela
stands by the example of good practices for protecting and safeguarding
cultural and natural heritage in the world, despite the challenges posed by the coercive and unilateral measures to which Venezuelans have
been subjected for years,” Molina said in a post on her Instagram account.
In
line with these statements, he indicated that Venezuela is organizing an International
Conference on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage
in Times of Coercion, which is scheduled to take place from
September 08 to 12, 2025 in the city of Caracas.
He stressed
that the 194 countries that make up
UNESCO will be invited in a personalized way. “The Homeland of Bolivar once again exercising
Bolivarian peace diplomacy,” he said.
He also
argued that this is an initiative of the Revolutionary Government led by
President Nicolas Maduro, which aims to strengthen
cooperation, share experiences and develop new legal and
institutional instruments to protect the heritage of humanity in the context of adversity.
