Venezuela participated in the 58th meeting of the OPEC Ministerial Joint Monitoring Committee

The
Executive Vice President of the Republic and Minister of People's Power for Hydrocarbons,
Delcy Rodríguez, participated this Monday in the 58th meeting of the Ministerial Joint Monitoring Committee of the Organization
of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Through his Telegram
channel, Rodríguez explained that, during the meeting, in
virtual format, they carried out “a follow-up and balance sheet for the year 2024, highlighting how the OPEC Plus
Agreement has constituted a guarantee of stability for
the international energy market”.
He stressed that “the
cohesion in our actions within the OPEC Plus agreement makes it possible to advance in
the consolidation of effective global investments in this strategic sector
for economic development.
Recently,
President Nicolás Maduro announced the
country's 13 productive engines, with the strengthening of the Hydrocarbons sector, led in the first place by Vice President
Rodríguez, highlighting the importance of Venezuela in the global energy equation.
